a few years old. i loved it, then hated it, now i sort of tolerate it.

12 for the price of 1. there used to be about 40, but i thinned them out. watered down acrylic enamel on notebook paper.

the title is a part of a misread quote, adorno i think. it was in italian. i wrote it down wrong.

loving-hating-tolerating a piece of work sounds familiar to me ;) (Wink) ... the larger version of this looks very cool with the lines and holes and variations in the acrylic enamel...

the thumbnail appeals to my imagination, thoughts of lots of things in the world that are made this way, like little windows, blocks of flats, drawer units with spaces to insert fingers and open them, a wall in a classroom where people have stuck up their work ready for assessment or viewing by others, yet it is impossible to grade the work because each piece has it's own intrinsic value which cannot be measured...

the description... damn funny - says loads in a short space, which is something i so often like about your writing...

it seems very simple but i know that there are details that this 1325x573 .jpg does not show...

i don't like the white background very much, it's too plain and doesn't seem to fit very well... but each and every one of those pieces of paper are fantastic!

the title is obscure (at least to me) and adds greatly to this piece.

The squares kind of suggest a strange pattern. I like the rhythm. I wonder how you produced these? Just with a paintbrush?

they're all different but the same, like snowflakes. each one's an artwork in itself. makes me wanna see them in detail. i adore it.

All of this hang upon a wall in a museum or someplace would be great...they look good here, but watching the in full size(ore even bigger to get all the detail) would be great...I must say that my favorite of them is the last one(down-right)the white figure really starts my imagination...

well, this doesn't strike my interest for whatever reason... it just doesn't trigger a particular emotion. maybe if i come back to it i can think of something constructive to say... :embarassed:
